| Professional illustrator for gaming and comics field for 16 years. I remain a traditional illustrator by choice, and prefer hand drawn and painted art for my own creations, although I dabble in some digital art with my cintique, but it's not my preferred method. I've created art for comics, dozens and dozens of RPG's, cardgames (Magic, Warlord, Harry Potter, L5R) and more, and really like the creativity of the fantasy and sci-fi genres. I'm a big Star Wars fan, and have done some licensed art for Lucasfilm. I live in Littleton, Colorado with a great view of the mountains, and have a passion for motorcycles. You can see some custom motorcycle work at [link] if you like, and you can visit my main site as well. My new direction is to be more involved with film, and I've written two screenplay's so far, with one already in production in Hollywood. It's my goal to be more involved with writing, production design, concept art and other facets of movie production as it relates to my artwork. I've had 6 books published featuring my pin-up and fantasy art, and I've won the World Fantasy Art show twice for Best Black and White art. see more at [link] |

"I drifted into photography like one drifts into prostitution. First I did it to please myself, then I did it to please my friends, and eventually I did it for the money." ~ Philippe Halsman
3D is my strong suit currently. considering Im close to graduation, its probably where I will try to enter the industry. Personally I really wish I could draw better than I currently do, but that will come with practice, something I dont devote much time to.
Thanks again!

With digital art an illustrator usually gets paid once, only for the creation of the art, and usually less than a traditional artist. The traditional artist gets paid twice, they also get paid for the sale of the original art to the collector, and therefore that income should faaaaaaaaar outway the cost of a bit of paint and a canvas. Therefore it's a mute point, because in general the successful traditional artist makes a far better income than the successful digital artist who gets the same assignments from game companies. The great part for the traditional artist is that the more digital art becomes the prevailing method, the fewer traditional artists there will be, and they will be sought after. The bad part for the old school guys is it's very difficult to compete for the speed and options the digital artist has before them.
